Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (EUR)

The inflation rate in Germany is expected to be +7.9% in August 2022. The inflation rate is measured as the change in the consumer price index (CPI) compared with the same month a year earlier. In July 2022, the inflation rate had been +7.5%. Based on the results available so far, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that consumer prices are expected to increase by 0.3% in July 2022. Read More

Italy is the second largest manufacturing economy in Europe and the third largest economy in the Euro Area. Composition of the GDP on the expenditure side: household consumption (61%), government expenditure (19%) and gross fixed capital formation (17%). Exports of goods and services account for 30% of GDP while imports for 27%, adding 3% to total GDP.
